LT Innovations (“I”, “me”, “we”) is a sole trader business operated by Lewis Taylor, based in Ampthill, Bedfordshire (MK45 2XB). This policy explains how I collect, use, and protect personal information when you use https://www.lt-innovations.co.uk or contact me for IT and AI services.

Information I collect

I may collect:

• Contact details you submit via forms (name, email, phone, message, service interest, preferred contact method)
• Booking details if you schedule a call via Calendly (subject to Calendly’s own privacy policy)
• Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited if you consent to Google Analytics
• Information you share by phone, email, or WhatsApp while discussing a job
• Your cookie preference (accepted or rejected analytics), stored in your browser’s local storage so the banner remembers your choice

How I use your information

• To respond to enquiries and provide quotes
• To deliver IT, WiFi, website, and AI services you request
• To understand which pages are useful, only when analytics consent is given
• To meet legal and accounting obligations where required

Legal basis

Under UK GDPR, I process personal data where it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform a contract, or where I have a legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Analytics cookies are used only with your consent. You can change your mind at any time via “Cookie settings” in the website footer.

Cookies and analytics

Essential functionality of the site does not require analytics cookies. If Google Analytics 4 is configured (NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_ID), it loads only after you click “Accept analytics” on the cookie banner. Until then, GA scripts are not loaded. If you reject analytics, or clear the preference and reject again, analytics stays off.

When analytics is enabled, Google may set cookies or similar technologies to measure visits and events such as form submissions and clicks on phone, email, WhatsApp or Calendly links. IP anonymisation is requested where supported. See Google’s privacy documentation for how Google processes analytics data.

You can reopen the banner anytime using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, or control cookies through your browser settings.

Sharing

I do not sell your personal data. I may share limited information with trusted processors needed to run the business, such as email delivery (e.g. Resend), booking tools (Calendly), analytics (Google, only with consent), hosting (Vercel), and optionally a CRM/webhook such as Monday.com — only as needed to handle your enquiry or deliver services.

Retention

Enquiry messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up and record-keeping. Project and invoice records may be retained longer to meet legal requirements. Cookie consent preference stays in your browser until you clear site data or change it.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing. Contact lewis@lt-innovations.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Security

As an IT service provider, I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending highly sensitive credentials by unsecured email unless agreed.
